About the United Way of Madison County
Your United Way is one of approximately 1300 local United Way’s nationally.
United Way of Madison County is working to create the kind of community we all want to live in. Where every child graduates and achieves their dreams, where every person has a good job that allows them to fully provide for their family, and where every family is stronger because they are healthy.
We work to improve the quality of life in our community by engaging people and organizations to advance education, income and health outcomes for all.
We invite you to join with us. Together, united, we can inspire hope and create a better future for everyone that calls Madison County home.
That’s what it means to LIVE UNITED.
United Way’s call to LIVE UNITED asks all of us to support our community through three specific actions: GIVE, ADVOCATE, VOLUNTEER.
In Madison County, United Way provides giving opportunities through our website, an annual community campaign, corporate sponsorships, special events, planned giving and collaborative community initiatives like Friend to Friend utility assistance and the Homeward Bound Walk.
Join with us as we advocate alongside many others on the behalf of our community to find solutions to issues that hinder anyone’s ability to provide a good life for their family and future for our community. Click here for our advocacy connections.
United Way facilitates volunteer opportunities through the Volunteer Action Center, numerous community partnerships as well as special events like Operation Weatherization, Blast Off to Kindergarten and Community Disaster Relief teams. For more information on volunteer opportunities, contact us.
