RSVP is America's largest volunteer network for people age 55 and over. Join RSVP and you join nearly 500,000 volunteers across the country who are tackling tough issues in their communities.

RSVP offers a full range of volunteer opportunities with thousands of local and national organizations. With RSVP, you choose how and where you want to serve. You choose the amount of time you want to give. And you choose whether you want to draw on your skills or develop new ones. In short, you find the opportunity that's right for you.

Below are just a couple examples of the many ways that you can help change lives in Madison County through RSVP.

Assistance to Needy Families
Help low to moderate income households keep more of what they earn by providing free income tax preparation and/or help with energy costs by weatherizing their homes. Operation Weatherization deploys volunteer teams ever fall. VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) volunteers receive free training and are certified by the IRS.

Disaster Relief Assistance
Support COAD-(Community Organizations Active in Disasters) as a volunteer with our local disaster relief agencies and emergency departments. Training is free. Rapid deployment of qualified volunteers for food service, shelters, and childcare can make a difference in the lives of local families during emergencies.
