Volunteers sought for 4TH Annual Operation Weatherization
United Way of Madison County and JobSource are partnering to assist targeted low income families in Anderson, Alexandria, Elwood and Pendleton with home energy saving projects during the 4TH annual Operation Weatherization event scheduled for Saturday, November 6. Corporate volunteers, civic groups, families and individuals can register now through – October 8 to assist with the one-day project.
Volunteers may register online at www.volunteermadisoncounty.org or call 765-643-7493 for a registration form. Volunteers work in teams at selected energy inefficient homes in Anderson, Alexandria, Elwood and Pendleton, completing simple weatherization tasks such as caulking, weather stripping and plastic wrapping windows.
