Program Funding

United Way of Madison County's Board of Directors approved funding of $588,856 to 25 agency programs over the next year as part of the 2010-2011 community support budget. In addition, community impact strategies Born Learning Connection, Community Access Network (CAN), Covering Kids and Families of Madison County, Volunteer Action Center, RSVP, and the Indiana Disaster Fund will receive $235,000 from additional resource development opportunities. Program funding is awarded annually April 1 through March 31 based on requests from certified agencies.

Local organizations will also receive $132,329 in donor directed funds from the fall 2009 campaign. Board members have also set aside $14,000 for board discretionary funding opportunities.
