The 13th Annual United Way/Chamber of Commerce Golf Classic, presented by Community Hospital Anderson, raised over $38,000 on July 17 at Anderson Country Club. 31 teams along with 52 sponsors and many volunteers helped to make the day a great success. Proceeds from the Golf Classic support several important local efforts by United Way and the Madison County Chamber for both individuals and businesses in our community.
These efforts include United Way’s countywide COVID-19 relief for those impacted by the pandemic, the THRIVE Network which provides personalized coaching, resources and supports for those who are working yet financially struggling to make ends meet, free help to individuals in enrolling in healthcare, and much more.
