Request for Proposals
United Way of Madison County has been developing a strategic focus on building the self-sufficiency of ALICE (Asset Limited Income Constrained Employed) households in our county for the past five years. With the participation of many community partners, we have worked to identify the systemic challenges and opportunities that exist for this significant population--42% of our county.
We are pleased to release our new Request for Proposals (RFP) to develop a THRIVE Network and THRIVE Centers to build on our work to date. This RFP has been significantly revised to include specific outcomes and processes to better guide our work and document our progress in a more holistic and collective way.
Understanding that this is a change from our usual funding request, we will be holding two information sessions to answer questions and go over specifics of this new RFP. The sessions will be held on Wednesday, January 6 at 3:00 p.m. and Wednesday, January 13 at 9:00 a.m. at the United Way office, 205 W. 11th St., Anderson. In order to be eligible for funding you must attend ONE of these sessions. Please RSVP for the session you will be attending. There is an area within the registration form to submit questions in advance of the meeting. It is strongly suggested that you submit questions prior to the session in order to ensure your questions are addressed. The sessions are designed to answer questions and clarify the information in the RFP. With that in mind, please read the full document prior to attending the session.
Proposals will be do by the end of business on February 8, 2016.
