United Way Events
United Way of Madison County hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Our events give our donors and the community an opportunity to be engaged with United Way, learn more about us and to celebrate the generosity of our supporters. We offer two types of events: community events and recognition events.

United Way Annual Human Truck Pull - Saturday, September 19 2015.
United Way Annual Dinner & Volunteer Recognition- Thursday, March 5, 2015. Annual event where campaign results are shared, the work of year highlighted and Volunteers of the Year and Spirit of United Way awards are announced.
Operation Weatherization - Saturday, November 7, 2015. This highly successful event sees 200 volunteers weatherizing 100 qualified homes annually in Alexandria, Anderson, Elwood, Frankton, and Pendleton.
Community Baby Shower - A free shower filled with mothering resources of all kinds from our sponsors. Learn about pre-natal nutrition, breastfeeding, infant safety, infant hygiene and much more! Plus door prizes, food and lots of surprises just for new and expecting mothers!
United Way of Madison County/Madison County Chamber Golf Classic- Friday, July 17 2015. Annual golf event supporting the work of both organizations in building up Madison County.
Loyal Donor & Leadership Events -These special events engage Loyal and Leadership donors with United Way and the community.
- Colts Camp at Anderson University
- Anderson Young Ballet’s Nutcracker Opening Night
Ballerina Spa - As an addition to our Nutcracker event for Loyal and Leadership donors, we offer a ballerina spa experience combined with learning opportunities from our Born Learning program. This event is open to the community.
