For the first time in five years, United Way of Madison County will not only meet its current year goal of raising $600,000, but has surpassed it by raising more than $700,000. This success is the result of the combined giving of many individuals and businesses working together during an incredibly challenging year.
In addition to the more than $700,00 raised in the campaign, UWMC added $800,000 in COVID-specific support through a grant from Indiana United Ways and the Lilly Endowment, and another $125,000 from outside grants to its community support. The result is more than $1.6 million invested into Madison County through United Way.
